Global Vendor Support

Rapid and Mobile Application Development and Deployment

Contingency applications are integrated using JCXS’ existing infrastructure, reducing software development lead-time and cost. The JCXS team has successfully developed and deployed business tools to meet requirements that require a quick response in contingency and expeditionary environments. The JCXS development team performs rapid process and technical assessment and initial requirements analysis before beginning to prototype solutions, utilizing elements of the Agile and Spiral Development methodologies to develop capabilities quickly. Recognizing the practical advantages of using mobile devices in the field, the JCXS team is currently developing mobile versions of its key contingency business applications, ensuring they comply with DoD security guidelines.

Widget Development & Deployment into GCSS-J

The JCXS development team is working on widgets that provide data source connections to the Global Combat Support System – Joint (GCSS-J). These widgets ensure that JCXS users have global, near real-time, accurate, integrated information provided through a robust and reliable communications infrastructure. GCSS-J, the Logistics' System of Record, provides a Joint Logistics Common Operational Picture (JLogCOP), ensuring the right personnel, equipment, supplies, and support are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantities across the full spectrum of military operations.

In-Theatre SME Support

JCXS subject matter experts (SMEs) have deployed to Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and elsewhere to support multiple applications in theatre. Our deployed SMEs conduct training, ensure continuity of operations during personnel transitions, and provide technical support around the clock, with reachback capabilities to the CONUS development and PMO team.

Reporting Service

Contractual, financial, and logistical information from the various applications hosted on the JCXS platform can be aggregated into customized reports, based upon customer-specific requirements. These reports can provide invaluable information that is not possible to obtain within the separate applications, for analysis and planning purposes.

JCXS Hosting

The JCXS team facilitates the transition, integration, and deployment of relevant logistics and acquisitions applications into the JCXS Common Operating Environment (COE). We lead facilitated technical summits, architecture planning, and technology integration and sustainment. Users have global, web-based access to tools used for:

  • Logistics planning, acquisition, and procurement
  • Host nation vendor management, vendor vetting, and solicitation and proposal management
  • Contractor pre-deployment clearance
  • ACSA tracking and reporting
  • Program management tools in-theatre

The JCXS team is committed to providing training for all JCXS applications and the processes that support them. Help Desk Services

Technical support is provided OCONUS and CONUS. Deployed OCONUS JCCS SMEs provide on-site technical support, with reachback capability to the CONUS tech support, development, and PMO team. The CONUS help desk provides customer assistance on an ad-hoc basis. The JCXS team uses Help Desk Plus to track all customer problems, provide better and faster customer responses, and collect valuable feedback from all our users
